Ami Nacu-Schmidt is the Marketing Communications Specialist for CIRES Center for Education, Engagement, and Evaluation and Western Water Assessment. Prior to this, she was the Outreach and Engagement Director at the Center for Science and Technology Policy Research. Ami is currently a member of the Media and Climate Change Observatory (MeCCO) project at University of Colorado Boulder, which tracks newspaper coverage of climate change or global warming on a monthly basis in seven different regions around the world. She is also a member of Inside the Greenhouse, an interdisciplinary collaborative effort that works to deepen our understanding of how issues associated with climate change can be communicated.
